Pierno’s specialties include: brand strategy, account planning and creative direction in interactive, media, broadcast, social and print. In his new role, he will lead the brand strategy and planning for existing and new clients and for the agency itself. He will have a significant role in the agency’s content marketing strategy and new business development initiatives. He will also be leading Santy Innovation Labs, expanding beyond client services to develop products that create new communication and revenue opportunities for clients and the agency.
“As we grow and continue to add regional and national brands to the agency we saw the need for a dedicated brand strategist was evident,” said President and CEO, Dan Santy. “I am looking forward to Adam’s level of leadership, accountability and productivity being back in the agency.”
Pierno comes to Santy from the telematics division of Verizon where he was the Creative Director on the partnerships with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and State Farm. His role included work with digital, direct mail, mobile, out-of-home, print, tradeshow and strategy.
Prior to Verizon, he spent time overseeing the Atlanta office of Partners + Napier on Delta Private Jets, Sanmina-SCI, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. His previous role with Santy as the VP/Creative Director, he worked on Dial, Cold Stone, The Counter, and Phoenix Children's Hospital.
In previous positions at Hill Holliday and JWT, Pierno had the opportunity to work with other notable brands such as: Domino's, Smirnoff, Trident, Dunkin’ Donuts, John Hancock, and Marshalls.
