GRAFTON — Four people were arrested Wednesday by the Grafton Police Department in connection with an apartment building fire in Taylor County, authorities said.
Police Chief Robert Beltner said Michael Anderson, Amy Poling and Daniel Palmer, all of Grafton, and Dana Broyles, 36, of Summersville, were arrested in connection with an Oct. 26 fire on Thayer Street that destroyed the apartment building.
Authorities allege the fire started as a result of the manufacture of methamphetamine by Broyles in an apartment occupied by Poling.

Palmer is charged with two counts of purchasing substances to make meth and one count of conspiracy to make meth, Beltner said.
Beltner said Broyles is charged with one count of obtaining a controlled substance by misrepresentation, one count of purchasing substances to make meth, one count of conspiracy to manufacture meth, one count of operating a drug lab and one count of exposing children to meth manufacturing.
