March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Dallas, London, Sydney – PM World has announced that 39 new articles, papers, reports and other original works about program and project management (P/PM) were added to the PM World Library (PMWL) in March.  These contributions by 51 different authors in 19 different countries were published in the PM World Journal (PMWJ) in the March edition.  They can now be found among the most recent papers, articles and book reports on the PMWL home page at www.pmworldlibrary.net.

The new additions bring the total in the PM World Collection to 721 original works by 398 different authors from 53 different countries.  The collection is growing each month by approximately 30-40 new works by many different authors.  Of the 50 authors of new works in March, 20 authors were new to both the PMWJ and PMWL.  All works in the PMWL can be accessed at http://pmworldlibrary.net/pm-world-collection/.  Profiles of all authors in the PMWL, along with access to their works, can be found in the Author Showcase at http://pmworldlibrary.net/author-showcase/.

According to PMWL Director David Pells (pictured), who is also the managing editor of the PMWJ, “We are excited to be adding so much new content to the library each month.  This reflects the wonderful desire of so many project management experts and leaders to share their knowledge.  The journal also seems to be attracting more researchers who like the option of quickly publishing the results of their research.”

“The PM World Library still needs a lot of work,” Pells adds.  “But we’re getting there, making improvements and adding content on a regular basis.  I hope all PMWJ readers will visit the library, returning periodically to see new content and features and perhaps to embrace our mission.  Help us create this global resource for continuous learning.”

New authors in March include Kilian Gersing, MIT (USA); Prof Josef Oehmen, MIT and Technical University of Denmark; Michal Iluz, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Dr. Yael Dubinsky, IBM Research (Israel); Prof Alexey Tsekhovoy, Kazakh National University after K.I. Satpaev, Natalia Neksrassova and Dr. Lidiya Karmazina (Kazakhstan); Dr. Robert Moehler, University of Northumbria (UK); Dr. Susan David, Harvard University (USA); Prof David Clutterbuck, Oxford Brookes and Sheffield Hallam Universities, and Prof David Megginson, Sheffield Hallam University (UK) and nine others. New works from 30 authors already included in the library were also added.

The PM World Library (PMWL) is a global resource for continuous learning in portfolio, program and project management (P/PM).  The PMWL is produced and maintained by PM World that also publishes the monthly PM World Journal (PMWJ), a web-based monthly publication featuring dozens of articles, papers and news stories about projects and project management around the world.  PM World is a virtual organization reflecting the 21st century reality of a connected world where individuals and organizations worldwide can collaborate for the creation, sharing and application of new knowledge.
