Bronx Bloggers Meet Up at Gun Hill Brewery; Join bloggers and photographers from all over the borough for a night of networking at the newly opened Gun Hill Brewery.

For the first time, bloggers and photographers from the Bronx will convene at the recently opened Gun Hill Brewery for a night of beer tasting and mingling. The event is the brainchild of the Bronx Bloggin Facebook group, whose administrator is the popular parent blogger Nicole Perrino of BronxMama.com (http://www.bronxmama.com/). Perrino’s work has been featured in The New York Daily News and Bronx News 12.

Among those expected are Fernando Tirado of Bronx On the Go (http://www.bronxonthego.com), best  known for his work in Bronx Community District 7; Ed Garcia Conde of Welcome2TheBronx, an activist and member of South Bronx Unite (http://www.southbronxunite.com); Morgan Powell of Bronx River Sankofa (http://www.bronxsankofa.wordpress.com), whose Bronx history tours have been featured in local media; and Shannon Lee Gilstad of BronxCentric! (http://www.bronxcentric.org), one of 25 award winners Influential Women of the Bronx 2014 (http://www.bxtimes.com/assets/pdf/2014_08bxw.pdf).
