synopsis: award-winning actress Julianne Michelle (family prayers; the house is burning, wall street - money never sleeps) plays Samantha Winston, a 22 year-old woman who returns to her hometown convinced that her father (John Savage), whom she remembers as a jealous and verbally abusive alcoholic, murdered her mother 14 years ago. Searching for evidence samantha looks to her mother’s best friend, lucas drake (Steven Bauer), her uncle (Edward Furlong) and a family friend (Sally Kirkland) among others. In her relentless pursuit to learn the truth Samantha forces secret plots into the open. As she learns more, the mystery only deepens, and what begins as her quest for vengeance uncovers a devastating evil.  drawing upon a profound love of her mother, Samantha’s determination threatens to awaken the town from its slumbering denials. Does Samantha receive help from beyond the grave? The answer will empower women and inspire us all.
