“Business directories cannot survive just on a database alone” Managing Director of the Biz-find franchise told us yesterday in Bangkok.

“People can just Google a business, and they trust Google to give them what they ask for, many see the extra steps of clicking into a business directory unnecessary to find what they want in their fast pace lifestyle, and they have often found old and dated information, like companies that have moved and ceased trading etc., so to us the ides of just throwing up a database is a little old hat, you have to have something a bit more to offer to business people. That is why we have combined a number of extra helpful elements that business people need in a directory website.

Firstly we have the blogs, as we understand that content is king, so all Biz-find sites are just as much a business article directory as they are a company directory. You can find a plethora of business tips and advice on almost anything you want to help with, from experienced business mentors who have been there and failed and failed until they earned the T-shirt! In fact most of the people I meet came upon a biz-find website via a blog that was shared on Social Media.

Secondly, and I have to thank my somewhat estranged teenage daughter for this, I thought to myself; who is so far removed from the business world that I could ask for advice that would be frank and honest?, That’s when she came to mind, so I asked her out of the blue:
