Drey A. Cooley Named Treasurer of the Federal Bar Association Missouri Chapter

Cooley, who focuses his practice in areas of white collar criminal defense, complex business litigation and intellectual property, has been elected treasurer of the Federal Bar Association, Missouri Chapter.

Mr. Cooley assumes a leadership role in the Missouri chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA), which is the premier bar association serving the federal practitioner and the federal judiciary. The FBA is based in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Cooley is licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois. He has also appeared pro hac vice in other courts, and his white collar criminal defense and business litigation practice spans nationwide.

In his white collar practice, Mr. Cooley represents businesses and individuals including but not limited to pharmacies, physicians and website owners under investigation or indicted for offenses, such as health care and insurance fraud, and violations of the Controlled Substances Act, the Ryan Haight Act and the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as well as individuals under investigation or indicted for mortgage fraud, money laundering, and mail and wire fraud.

In his business litigation practice, Mr. Cooley represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters including complex commercial and real estate litigation, as well as e-commerce and internet disputes.
