Kip McGrath Neath offers extra-curricular maths and English tutoring to children between the ages of 5 to 18, offering additional help for those who have missed school and specialist assistance for children with learning difficulties. Mother of two, Mrs Llewellyn-Bevan employs fully qualified teachers at the tutoring centre which first opened its doors in 2004.
Now in its eighth year, the prestigious Just4 Junior National Annual Awards celebrate companies, organisations and individuals who provide the best activities and classes for young families and children across the UK.
Mrs Llewellyn-Bevan has been nominated for Most Outstanding Activity Leader for Children Aged 5-12.
“I’m just so grateful to all the parents who took the time to nominate me,” said Llewellyn-Bevan. “It came as a complete surprise and it’s wonderful to know the Mums, Dads and children I work with get as much out of Kip as I do.”
A former teacher, Mrs Llewellyn-Bevan left the profession to dedicate more time to caring for her son who suffers from a rare heart condition. Working around hospital visits and her son’s need for full-time care, she set up her business, Kip McGrath Neath, quickly growing it to become the success it is today.
Mrs Llewellyn-Bevan is also author of parental guide, Homework Help For Parents.
Voting will open to the public immediately and the winners will be announced at a prestigious ceremony at Drayton Manor Hotel on 20 June.
