Mobile Websites- Ugly Doesn’t Work

March 16, 2014 - PRLog -- UGLY= Unpleasant to look at. Yes that is what it says in the Dictionary about Ugly, no getting away from it, straight up if something is UGLY? It’s not good to look at, well I’m here to tell you, there is a lot of Websites in the World that are just plain UGLY, and most of them? Are free ones!

Facebook Ads, Banner Ads on Google, Ads on Search bars it drives me nuts how many time s a day I see Ads for, “Build it Yourself” or “FREE Mobile site” It’s not the Ads that make me nervous and break out in a rash, it’s the end result that makes me what to go into a corner and cry, it’s the encouragement of UGLY I find so tough.

Seriously think about it for a minute, if a friend or a member of your family stands in front of a mirror with buttons popping on that dress that was perfect 25 years ago comes up to you and asks, “Hey, how do I look” do you say, “Awesome” whilst laughing under your hands.

I often wonder when I see a Person with Tattoo’s on their face if the Tattooist actually wants to say, “You know how stupid this will look” or do they just shut up encourage UGLY and take the Money.

You see in the majority of cases People will not say anything about “UGLY” they will just turn away and look at something else, yes they will mumble under their breathe but they won’t outright look you in the eyes and say, “That looks really bad”

So what is all this, “UGLY” business got to do with Mobile sites? Well I’m glad you asked that.

UGLY is “Unpleasant” to look at so what do you think your customers are going to do if they view your website and its downright button pooping, face tattooed UGLY?

They are not going to look at it!

Last time I checked the goal of the exercise of having a Website was so people look at it, get excited, feel the opportunity of a need being filled and call you. I didn’t read where the goal is for people to exclaim, “Eeeowww” faint from shock, or roll into laughter and place you as an OMG post on Face Book!

What’s the answer on how to avoid the, “UGLY” possibility in your Business Mobile site design?

Well unless you have some Picasso DNA in the family Linage, find a friend that can help you or do something that is also foreign to a lot of people in this world until they learn from harsh mistakes.
