By: North Texas LPGA Shootout The North Texas LPGA Shootout Tournament will be held May 01-04, 2014 at the Las Colinas Country Club, with various events during prior days leading up to the Tournament. College Shootout, April 28, 2014, Professional Women & Golf Day, April 29, 2014 and the Official North Texas LPGA Shootout Pro-Am, April 30, 2014 fill the week with great events and opportunities. To purchase a ticket for the event, visit http://ntshootout.com/ A tournament of this magnitude requires volunteers to help in various functions and there is a place for everyone to help out. 700+ volunteers are needed to help in a variety of areas during the tournament, so there is a place for everyone. Some of the areas available to volunteer are: Admissions / Will Call Gallery Control Media Services On-Course Services Pro-Am Access Control Scoring Tents Scoring Control Leader Boards Walking Scorers Shuttles & Carts Standard Bearers Volunteer Services Front 9 Walking Marshalls Back 9 Walking Marshalls Transportation Volunteers will have the opportunity to network, meet the players, other volunteers and participants with the LPGA. The ability to leverage these relationships may be beneficial to growth and expansion of your personal and professional network. With so many volunteers needed, there is a place for everyone to participate and make a contribution during the week. Volunteer Barbara Holst says, “As a Walking Scorer and being able to be inside the ropes with Angela Stanford, Lexi Thompson, Na Yeon Choi and other LPGA members has been the highlight of my golfing experience. I considered it a “once in a lifetime experience” last year, and now I get to do it again. Can’t wait!” The Nexus Club is honored to host the LPGA Tournament for the second year.
