SAMENA Council's Beyond Connectivity to highlight four-pillar approach for telecom operators

March 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The South Asia, Middle East, North Africa region’s SAMENA Telecommunication Council has announced today its Beyond Connectivity 2014 conference themed “Fostering Economic Growth: Evolving Telecoms & ICT Landscape”. The event, which will be held on March 16^th & 17^th in Kuwait, will highlight a four-pillar approach for telecom operators which can boost economic growth and sustainable development.

SAMENA's Beyond Connectivity 2014 will bring together the telecommunications industry's leading experts to participate in a number of panel discussions covering different topics which include: tax reduction policies imposed on telecom operators, infrastructure sharing, pricing and fair competition, international roaming regulations, telecom licensing framework, diversification of revenue streams, strategies to overcome spectrum challenges, as well as regional perspective on Net Neutrality.

Highlighting the importance and relevance of Beyond Connectivity 2014, Bocar A. BA, CEO, SAMENA Telecommunications Council said, “The upcoming conference aims at identifying innovative business strategies to facilitate growth through a series of panel discussions which will discuss the ways of collaboration among stakeholders and help identify new opportunities and strategies, solutions to tackle various challenges and, regulatory and policy amendments required to improve industry revenues.”
