PRLog - March 16, 2014 - LANCASTER, Pa. -- On April 6th, 2014 at 7:00pm, Ervin R. Stutzman, accomplished author and Executive Director of Mennonite Church USA, will be in conversation at East Petersburg Mennonite Church.
Ervin R. Stutzman will be discussing the topic of his new book “Discerning God’s Will Together: Biblical Interpretation in the Free Church Tradition,” which was released by Cascadia Publishing. This book is Ervin’s look at communal forms of biblical interpretation and what practices of guidance and discernment we should implement in today’s challenging ethical and theological riddles. He will also introduce us to some of his other books and writings. He has written several books featuring stories from his Amish heritage through Herald Press and MennoMedia.
There will be coffee and light refreshments. Our time together will also feature a Question and Answer time.
