Stage play offers hope, faith in the midst of adversity

March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI—From the outside looking in, a Christian has it all—faith that moves mountains, a bank account overflowing with money and a clean bill of health. But when the lives of Dexter and Shereese come under a microscope, audiences find a life of misery, depression and addiction. Crown Production Studiospresents back by popular demand, Before I Let Go at the Northwest Activity Center in Detroit on April 5, and the Maumee Indoor Theater in Maumee, OH April 26.Before I Let Go debuted on October 25-26, 2013 at the Towsley Auditorium of Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor.

Every family has its share of skeletons—and the lives of Dexter and Shereese are no different. While they attempt to live life by the book—the bible, that is—a huge test of the very faith they claim to be unshakeable shatters their life into pieces. Will Shereese turn away from her addictive ways before she loses it all—including her husbands and friends? If there is pain behind every smile, there is even greater pain behind every addiction.

This stellar cast includes: DJuana Morton; Vincent Kelley of Church Girl, Ashanti Freeman-Keglar; Conrad Johnston; Trische' Duckworth; Andre Jackson; Latia Davis; Shawn Williams; Alexis Street; and Pamela Henry of the Holy Ghost Enforcers.

An added bonus, in celebration of signing a national distribution deal of the stage play Give Me 1 Reason, Crown Production Studios will give audience members a chance to win FREE giveaways of the DVD at the showing on the April 5.
