Another award for Harvey Goodman's 'So Too My Love'

WESTCLIFFE, Colo. - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Harvey Goodman's 'So Too My Love' has been awarded Honorable Mention with a 7th place finish at  the Los Angeles Book Festival in the Biography/Autobiography category. It recently took the top prize in the Short Story category of the Feathered Quill book Awards. This is Goodman's third book, and represents a genre departure from his first two books, Along the Fortune Trail and Winds of Redemption which are Western novels. Both Westerns garnered a number of awards, including Runner-Up in the General Fiction category of The Great Soutwest Book Festival for Winds of Redemption.

So Too My Love is the true story of how Goodman and his wife, Gabrielle, grew up in Los Angeles and became first loves after meeting as young teenagers at Hollywood High School. Their ensuing troubles brought an eight year split and long odds at ever reuniting as adults. Goodman penned the memoir in third person. He lays out a compelling and inspirational narrative that includes Gabrielle's career as a child actress, and Goodman's own rise as a football player in a career that includes the NFL.
