Rapid City Bank Discusses Their Community Support to the Humane Society of the Black Hills

RAPID CITY, S.D. - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- In a town the size of Rapid City, South Dakota, community support can go a long way to help build the happiness and prosperity of local residents and businesses. In March, one local Rapid City bank will once again show their support for the community by focusing their community outreach program donation on the Humane Society of the Black Hills.

“With our Pass It On Program, our employees are able to donate up to $1000 to their charity of choice and in March we decided to focus on our local Humane Society,” said Jack Lynass, President and CEO at Black Hills Community Bank.

Employees are encouraged to donate either $500 to two organizations or $1000 to a single organization which will ensure the charity receives a sizable donation. Although employees are not permitted to donate to political organizations, the Pass It On Program has very few restrictions which allows each employee to feel a strong connection with their charity of choice.

“It is nice to see the employees once again choose the Humane Society to kick off this year’s Pass It On Program. With organizations like the Humane Society, the money we donate really goes a long way to ensure the pets are cared for properly. Lynass also stated the banks belief that without community outreach programs like Pass It On, local organizations would be struggling to meet their monetary demands which in turn makes it hard for them to operate and carry on the good deeds that the Rapid City area depends on.
