DEPs Celebrates International Whiskey Day March 27

CINCINNATI - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- What better way to celebrate International Whiskey Day than tasting a variety of whiskeys and supporting a great cause in the process. Cincinnati Profile, an online publication for men in Greater Cincinnati, is partnering with DEP’s Fine Wine & Spirits by bringing in celebrity mixologist Jane Canner to demonstrate various whiskey from around the world and pour signature cocktails. This event will take place Thursday, March 27th from 5:45-8:30pm at the Ft. Thomas DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits location.

At this event, guests will enjoy a free Makers Mark Cigar, multiple whiskey tastings, a whiskey seminar, and a chance to win a trip for four to the Marker’s Mark distillery on a private tour. All proceeds will benefit the Parkinson’s disease research. This is the first time International Whiskey Day will be celebrated with DEP’s.

“Being so close to Bourbon Country we have a large selection of Kentucky Bourbon.  This has been and always will be our best seller.  With our new Ft. Thomas location, we are trying to branch out a little more.  Our international selection of Scotch Whiskey, Irish Whiskey and others is expanding and seeing some growth,” says Matt Corely, Spirits Buyer at DEP’s. “The charity being used is the one that International Whiskey Day uses.  Their motto being ‘raise a glass, raise spirits, raise money and raise awareness. Let's help fight Parkinson's Disease,’” Corely stated.

The Ft. Thomas DEP’s Fine Wine and Spirits is located at 424 Alexandria Pike Fort Thomas, KY 41075. Tickets are $20, with all proceeds benefiting Parkinson’s disease research, available for purchase at http://depswhiskeytasting.eventbrite.com. Space is limited.
