Loqate Announces Leif Langensand as New Chief Financial Officer

SAN MATEO, Calif. - March 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Loqate, a leader in address quality, announced today the appointment of Leif Langensand as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Langensand, a financial industry veteran is joining the Company effective today. Mr. Langensand brings his knowledge of the startup world and Silicon Valley to benefit Loqate. As CFO, Mr. Langensand’s responsibilities will include putting in place the necessary systems and processes that will help refine Loqate’s financial development and growth.

Mr. Langensand is the Administrative Partner for The Halo Fund Management Company and CFO for The Angels Forum Management Company, one of the most prominent early-stage investment organizations in Silicon Valley. He has over twenty years’ experience in financial services and process improvement consulting. Prior to joining The Angels' Forum Management Company, Mr. Langensand held numerous finance positions at Charles Schwab, including CFO for Charles Schwab’s International division. He has also worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he was a consultant specializing in profitability measurement and improvement for Financial Services firms. He also has held management positions at First Nationwide Bank and Decision Dynamics.

In 2006, Mr. Langensand started investing in early stage companies through his involvement with The Angels' Forum. His responsibilities as CFO for The Angels' Forum Management Company required him to support Halo I, Halo II and Halo III. With a B.S. in Forest Products from the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Langensand is a member of the clean technology entrepreneurial/investor community. He is the past Chair of Habitat for Humanity, Greater San Francisco, where he also served on their Audit, Finance and Executive committees.
