Balance Treatment Center underwent a rigorous on-site survey in February 2014. A team of Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated Balance Treatment Center for compliance with standards of care specific to the needs of individuals served and families, including infection prevention and control, leadership and medication management.

Balance Treatment Center is a private licensed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center hidden away in the Santa Monica Mountains, miles from Los Angeles and minutes from Malibu. Balance Treatment Center is among the only private six bed mental health facilities in the state of California. At Balance we have multiple treatment options and levels of care for issues related to mental health, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and trauma. Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers a supportive group environment to help with everyday stressors and struggles.
We offer Intensive Outpatient Programs for both adults and for adolescents lasting 8-12 weeks, depending on the client’s needs. Clients will attend the IOP for 3 hours a day, 3 times per week and return home daily.
