Ralph Csogi, P.E. Named President/CEO of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc

Engineering expert, Ralph Csogi, P.E., has been named president/CEO of the Greenman-Pedersen organization, taking over for Steve Greenman, P.E. who remains chairman of the board.

BABYLON, N.Y. - March 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), a leading engineering and construction services firm is pleased to announce that it has named Ralph D. Csogi, P.E. President/CEO.

Mr. Csogi has been with GPI for 30 years in various management positions. He has been a key player in the growth of the firm’s construction management and inspection division, and has served as branch manager of its Babylon office and senior vice president of the corporate marketing and business development department. He takes over the position from Steve Greenman, who will remain with the firm as Chairman of the Board.

Hired in 1984, Mr. Csogi has been a significant part of the firm’s development in construction management and inspection of various infrastructure, especially long span structures and suspension bridges. He has led some of the largest public works construction projects in the nation, including the recent New Jersey Turnpike Exits 6 to 9 widening project, a $ 2.5 billion program. He has managed teams of engineers to oversee the construction of every major suspension bridge in the New York City area, and has taken that expertise to the Midwest of the United States, overseeing construction management of major infrastructure projects.

Mr. Csogi is a professional engineer in many states, and is a founding member of the International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety. He is also an active member of the International Bridge, Tunnel & Turnpike Association (IBTTA); Transportation Research Board, (Past Committee Chair for Construction of Bridges & Structures); the American Society of Civil Engineers; and the Society for Protective Coatings. He is a sought-after speaker on current trends in construction management techniques. Mr. Csogi currently resides in Huntington, NY with his wife Kathi.
