Dr. Jayshri Gamoth Biography

With over 10+ years of experience,  Dr. Gamoth has become one of Arizona’s leading physician’s in the treatment of general and surgical skin conditions. Dr. Gamoth is skilled in complex surgical techniques and specializes in the treatment of various skin cancers.

Her private practices cover all areas of dermatology including cosmetic treatments such as Botox, Fillers and IPL Photo Rejuvenation. As an educator, Dr. Gamoth consistently shares the importance of a healthy skin regime with her local community. Her desire is to offer affordable healthcare to all who are in need. In her own words,

“My favorite part of practicing medicine is to help my patients find solutions and care for them on a personal level."

As a native of India, Dr. Gamoth came to the US at the age of 15 in search for a higher quality of life. Her parents, wanting to give young Dr. Gamoth the educational opportunities she desired, encouraged her to pursue her dreams. With the goal of becoming a doctor, she attended Jersey City State University receiving her Bachelor of Arts in pre med.

Following her undergraduate work, she attended the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she received her M.D. After which, she served a family practice residency at St. Eliabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont, TX and a second residency at the McKeeport Hospital in McKeesport, PA. After completion of her training, Dr. Gamoth began her career with Accredited Dermatology in New Jersey where she was able to further her practical experience in the field of dermatology.

Dr Gamoth has participated in various research studies and presentations on topics ranging from skin cancer to common skin disorders. As a highly qualified medical professional, Dr. Gamoth strives to promote a comfortable atmosphere in which her patients receive the highest quality of care.

In her spare time, Dr. Gamoth enjoys spending time with her family.  She also enjoys community events, music, traveling, and non-profit work.
