PRLog - March 13, 2014 - RALEIGH, N.C. -- ICA Engineering, Inc., a leading civil engineering firm focused on Strengthening America’s Infrastructure, announced today that Mike Robinson, PE has joined the firm as the North Carolina CEI Area Manager in the Raleigh, NC office. In this position, Robinson will serve as Project Engineer / Project Manager responsible for the daily management of CEI projects and staff within the North Carolina area.

He will be a great asset to our North Carolina CEI operation for business development, project staffing and design-build projects,” said Herb Turner, PE, North Carolina Regional Manager of ICA Engineering.
Robinson’s responsibilities will include client marketing, business development, proposal preparation, staffing of projects, training, monitoring and tracking the certification needs of the technicians, and recruiting technicians. Duties also include being available to help in the field, as needed, to provide advanced level technical work in functional areas of roadway and bridge construction, project administration and management.
Robinson retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) after 30 years of service. For the last six years, he has served as State Bridge Construction Engineer for NCDOT. Robinson is a registered Professional Engineer and a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
