“Radio One Cares” for St. Jude Kids – RADIO-THON, THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 2014

WASHINGTON - March 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Last year we raised Two Hundred Thousand ($200,000.00) Dollars. This year our goal is Five Hundred Thousand ($500,000.00) Dollars.

We start at 6:00am with “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show” giving everyone a chance to donate and for just twenty ($20.00) dollars a month, become a Partner in Hope!! Erica Campbell, of the gospel singing duo Mary Mary, will personally take donation calls live on-air throughout the day.  She too believes in St. Jude’s mission.

Radio One, Inc. continues to strive to bring awareness of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Our goal is to raise enough funds to make a difference. There are children right here in the Washington Metropolitan Area that are treated at St. Jude’s for cancer.


Be a Partner in Hope with Praise 104.1 FM and help St. Jude Hospital to save a child’s life.  Without warning, cancer can forever change a family.  St. Jude Children’s Hospital is transforming the way the world treats childhood cancer by sharing their discoveries with doctors and scientists all over the globe.

Not only are we, Praise 104.1 FM partnering with St. Jude but ALL Radio One, Inc. Praise stations across the country are partnering with St. Jude Children’s Hospital in finding cures and saving children’s lives via The Radio One Cares for St. Jude Kids Radio-thon on Thursday, April 3, 2014.
