Follow on Google News | Tumblewild release debut album 'When the World Had Four Corners'The indie music duo known as Tumblewild have released their awaited debut album, “When the World Had Four Corners.”
By: MondoTunes Tumblewild's official Facebook page describes their modern western sound as indie, road-trip, country, blues, barn-rock and pop music. That the word 'folk' may seem fitting in there somewhere is due to Tumble's general vibe and overtones, which lie somewhere between the Cowboy Junkies and Chris Isaak with healthy doses of contemporary indie pop for added bounce. Their 19th-century American groove and character are impeccably captured in their recently published music video, “Revenge,” True audiophiles will embrace Tumblewild's first record for its sonic purity. Studio effects are sparse and well implemented where present. Instrumentation is both restrained and colorful. No 12-man orchestra à lathe Magnetic Zeros, here. Instead, listeners will enjoy a simple tambourine, plenty of acoustic guitars, and an enchanting glockenspiel Evans saved from the dustbin of a local school. Though Tumblewild's “When the World Had Four Corners” is the first official LP from the group, core members Audrey Evans and Alonza Bevan are far from new to music. The husband-and- “When the World Had Four Corners” by Tumblewild is available online worldwide. Get in early. -S.
