Dr. Larry Rose Now Offering New Ceramic Technology

HOUSTON - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- While dental braces make a lasting cosmetic impact on the wearer, the experience of wearing the numerous, plainly visible, grey metal attachments on ones teeth may be less  than appealing. In response, 3M Unitek recently introduced a line of advanced ceramic braces. These are marketed as an alternative to the potentially unsightly and dramatic impact typical braces can make on a patient’s appearance during this lengthy orthodontic process. Orthodontist Dr. Larry Rose has announced he will be offering this new option to his patients throughout the Houston area.

The advantages of the ceramic products are touted as twofold. First, the material used in this product is tooth colored, making the braces difficult to see, especially from a distance. The benefits of this design are obvious. In contrast to typical metal braces, a wearer’s ceramic ones, especially when coupled with clear elastic ties, are far less noticeable in photographs and at special events. According to Dr. Rose, this also means that those who prefer to wear colored elastic ties are also quite pleased with the new ceramic braces. Dr. Rose says the tooth colored product makes the appearance of colored ties “pop” even more than they do with the metal option.

For those patients who are still undecided, Dr. Rose is offering a free orthodontic consultation to discuss the different options available. Explaining his role as the leading orthodontist for the Houston area, Dr. Rose says that the ceramic braces are just part of a practice dedicated to providing his patients with all the leading technologies available in the field.
