The HR Excellence Awards honors top resource professionals throughout the region who bring value to their organization by accomplishing strategic objectives and bottom line results. By selecting and retaining the best talent, these individuals create a positive work environment through the development, engagement and motivation of their employees.
With the likes of Soledad O’Brien as a former Keynote Speaker, Captain Mark Kelly will hold these honors at the 2014 ceremony. Kelly commanded the final flight of Space Shuttle Endeavor as well as missions on Space Shuttle Discovery and combat missions during the Gulf War. Already a decorated American in his own right, he became the center of international attention when he faced the toughest challenge of his life during the 2011 assassination attempt on his wife, former US Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Presented by The Employees Association and emceed by Charlotte Morning News’ host Bo Thompson, the ceremony is set to exhibit the value of leadership, the importance of teamwork and the courage under pressure. The Greene Group falls right in line with these values as the core foundation of how they run their business and bring success to its people.
