ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- BESTInc. (www.solder.net) has joined forces with Additive Circuits, Inc. (Laconia, New Hampshire) to bring bare board designers, EMS suppliers and OEMs a complete offering of PCB bare board modification services (www.solder.net/services) . Under this agreement BEST will interface with the customers to accomplish engineering changes on the bare boards. Once the modifications are approved by the customer, BEST Inc. or Additive Circuits will perform the trace cuts, added traces, solder mask ablation and PCB routings using a variety of proven processes.

Services that this alliance will perform for board shops, designers, EMS companies and OEMs include: trace cuts, trace modifications, pad additions, new solid copper layer on one or both sides of the existing board, laser numbering and PCB routing.

Clients will submit current revision GERBER files and PCB ECN, ECO or other documentation showing the desired modifications. BEST will then send back a modification plan to the customer for approval. Work will then be coordinated by BEST at its Chicago IL operation.

Clients are consistently asking for a way to quickly modify their bare boards instead of re-spinning them and this partnership will help us achieve these requirements ” remarked Laura Ripoli, customer care manager of Best Inc.
