VALENCIA COLLEGE DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES


ORLANDO, Fla. —March 5, 2014

Who: John Crossman, President of Crossman & Company.

What: The Valencia College District Board of Trustees, appointed by the governor, is composed of citizens who serve without pay and are legally vested with decision making power in all matters of college policy, programs, building, budget and personnel.

Why: John Crossman has served as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation Board and as the president of NAIOP Central Florida.  John received his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and was inducted into the College of Business Hall of Fame in 2013.  He succeeds Jerry Buchanan and is appointed for a term beginning February 28, 2014, and ending May 31, 2017.
