Auriga increases focus on Business Transformation with appointment of Phil Copperwheat

LONDON - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Auriga Consulting Ltd (Auriga), the expert data, ICT and security consultancy, today announced the appointment of Phil Copperwheat as ICT Transformation and Change Manager. In this multi-faceted role, Phil will lead the Transformation and Change Management team and assist clients transitioning to scalable agile enterprise architectures and Cloud Computing.Phil Copperwheat has over 20 years experience in ICT and large scale transformation and change management programmes, having assisted numerous organisations in extracting maximum benefit from core investments, technological solutions and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Auriga, Phil was Head of Systems at Viridian Housing, a major housing association in southern England, where he transformed the organisation’s technological profile. Responsible for spearheading a data landscaping project, Phil oversaw the transition of the association from a static infrastructure to an agile Hi-bred Cloud and Co Location-based infrastructure. He also developed a Target Operation Model (TOM) as part of this process to protect working functions and manage the change in the environment.

Phil has also held senior managerial positions at G4S as Programme and Strategy Manager, where he worked to build a cohesive UK and Ireland strategy, and CLICK Software, the enterprise mobility solutions provider, where as European Portfolio Manager he was responsible for the successful delivery of and management of profitable solutions. He has also travelled extensively, managing the Global Programme at Avnet in San Diageo where he tracked mobility and interoperability solutions from design to production across 20 countries.

Phil began his career as a software developer for the Ministry of Defence before moving into management. He has a wealth of experience in cloud consultancy, data management and mobility. As familiar face on the speaking circuit, he is well placed to comment on Cloud issues, such as change and transformation, Enterprise Mobility and Field Force Mobility and can readily apply a strategic business-focused assessment to verify the viability of technical solutions.
