Cairo Qween is an Urban Tech Fair City Leader and serves on the UTF National Team as a media strategist and correspondent. Atlanta is among the first cities in the United States coordinating a local Urban Tech Fair. While the Urban Tech Fair provides activities and programming within 26 to 30 tracks, Atlanta will highlight robotics along with "We Are Media" social media initiative.
The interest meeting is a discovery session for the Atlanta and Greater Atlanta community. Attendees will discover as the Urban Tech Fair implements infrastructure within the local neighborhoods that initiates outcome driven technology based collaboration among Atlanta's “Local” tech professionals, students, families, community organizations, and businesses, the ATL UTF will provide individual, business, community, and technology development and opportunities.
With a focus on providing Access, Education, and driving Commerce, the Urban Tech Fair brings urban dwellers ages 12-55 together around under-served communities to demonstrate what is possible through technology and collaboration by leveraging local resources, talent, and innovation (aka the Silicon Valleys that exist in our OWN backyards) into a city by city series of 30 day interactive community based cloud and ground experiences. The Urban Tech Fair works to empower communities with resources and sustainable technologies that enhance the quality of life and equality of information access.
The Urban Tech Fair is the brainchild of Software Developer, Publisher, and Blogger Jim Neusom, more commonly known as the Digital Drummer. UTF merges his community and small business advocacy, wealth of connections, and technology experience into purpose and outcome driven activity. Marketing Strategist Jacqueline Taylor-Adams brings definition, clarity, and strategy to the vision as Chairperson and CMO.
