On February 23, she won the USA National Masters 8K Championship Race at the 23rd Annual Brea 8K Classic and on March 8th won the Way Too Cool 50km Endurance Trail Run in Cool, California to complete the stunning double. The Way Too Cool win, in 3:53:09, came against a strong competitive field in one of the largest ultra races in the United States, and placed her tenth overall in a field of 1,050 starters. Her win at the USA National Masters 8K in 28:15 also placed her ahead of that race’s Open women’s winning time. Way Too Cool was Boulet’ “I enjoy racing at different distances,” said Boulet. “For now, I’m really happy to do long trail runs and am enjoying the ultra running world, but building speed in shorter competitions is tremendously helpful.” Holding a Master’s Degree in Physiology from the University of California, Boulet is the Vice President of Product Innovation at GU Energy, and also a mother.
