Here are a few St. Patrick Day recipe ideas if you are having a few friends over for dinner or perhaps just a fun family meal. There are three tasty green dessert recipes, Gluten-free Grasshopper Bars, Irish Cream Brownies and Key Lime Cheese Cake Bars. Perhaps no one in Ireland has heard of these desserts, but they are green, fun and tasty. The Key Lime Cheesecake Bars, recipe provided by Better Homes and Gardens, uses all low fat ingredients such as, graham crackers, gelatin, cottage cheese, cream cheese and whipped dessert topping. Yes all these ingredients are available in fat free form. The bars need to be refrigerated 8 to 24 hours, so plan ahead.
