Actress, Brittani Ebert lands role on hit drama Criminal Minds

March 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Midwest turned Los Angeles based actress Brittani Ebert joins the cast of Criminal Minds directed by Nominated, Best Motion Picture The Day (2011) Doug Aarniokoski [Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, From Dusk Till Dawn, Austin Powers] and starring Chicago’s own, Nominated, Golden Globe, Joe Mantegna [The Godfather: Part III, Baby’s Day Out, Searching for Bobby Fischer].

Criminal Minds explores the cases of the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) an elite group of profilers that analyze the nation’s most dangerous criminal minds in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.   Also Chicago born, Virgil Williams writes this episode 18 of season 9, and it looks crazy insane as people appear to be getting turned into stark raving zombies, and more.  The episode is called, “Rabid.”

Brittani Ebert plays a Soccer Mom (from Milwaukee).  “It’s such an exciting experience to work with Doug and the crew on Criminal Minds!” explained Brittani. “He is so specific and spot on in his direction, which makes him confident in your take to deliver!”

Returning to TV is very exciting for Brittani.  Since 2010 she’s made almost 30 total appearances on General Hospital [ABC].  In 2011, she joined the cast in the theatrical production of I Never Sang For My Father [New American Theatre] starring Philip Baker Hall (The Insider, Magnolia, Rush Hour 1-3, Hard Eight), and a Co Star in Tail Section [FOX] opposite award winning and nominated singer/actress Mya (Harrison).

Brittani is honoring and dedicating her performance in Criminal Minds to her late aunt.  The same day, a bittersweet day of emotions, first hearing the news of booking the show, then later that evening of her aunt’s passing.  Cynthia M. Ebert, 56, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, surrounded by her family and close friends, after a courageous 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer.  During services, Brittani serendipitously learned that this was Cindy’s favorite show.
