PRLog - March 7, 2014 - CLEVELAND -- What if you could follow religious sisters around and see what their life is like? Ever wish you could be an insider for a day?
Young women visiting the Sisters.
In a new video produced by the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, you can catch a glimpse of life within their community. They're not called “sisters” for nothing! Once you see their lives, you'll see that the sisters really do live as a family where they share meals, chores, prayer, as well as making time for fun and games.
The two pillars of the Mercedarian charism are Mary and the Eucharist. The Sisters have a strong devotion to Jesus present in the Eucharist. As teachers in Catholic schools, their ministry includes teaching the faith to the children, and sharing the love of Jesus in the Eucharist! However, this work cannot be done without the help of Mary. She is the one who leads her children to Jesus, and she was the first tabernacle of the Lord!
If you are compelled to learn more, the Mercedarian Sisters offer days where young women can come to visit and “shadow the Sisters” in their everyday life. You don't have to don a habit to be welcomed into their home!
