Toyota of Dallas Set to Break Ground on New Dealership

DALLAS - March 7, 2014 - PRLog -- One of Texas’ longest running Toyota dealers is about to break ground on what will be one of the largest construction projects in North Dallas. For 40 years, Toyota of Dallas has served Dallas-area residents with one of the finest selections of Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs, and has become a top ten Toyota dealership, earning multiple Presidents’ Awards for excellence in sales and customer service. Now, Toyota of Dallas is proud to announce construction of an all-new, state-of-the-art facility, located off I-35 and 635. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 2610 Forest Lane, Dallas, TX, on Friday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. All local residents and media are encouraged to attend this exciting and important event.

“I can’t begin to describe how excited all of us are about this project and our new dealership,” said Toyota of Dallas Managing Partner Darren Dortch. “This is our chance to give the community something to be proud of for years to come, and it will also give the area the largest, most modern Toyota dealership in North America. All of us at Toyota of Dallas look forward to continuing to offer world-class service, amenities, and an unparalleled selection of new and used Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs. This new location will truly be something you have to see to believe.”

The Toyota of Dallas Groundbreaking Event will begin at 10 a.m. with an invocation from Pastor Randell, followed by an introduction to the project by Mr. Dortch. Mayor of Dallas Mike Rawlings is expected to be on hand, along with GST President Marty Collins. After a word from the contractor and architect, Toyota of Dallas representatives and other special guests will take part in the “turning of the soil” to officially kick-off construction of the all-new Toyota of Dallas.

“Between our new dealership and collision center, we’re thrilled to invest in something that will enrich North Texas for years to come in the form of jobs, revenue for the city and state, and a great product people use every day: Toyota vehicles,” said Mr. Dortch. “We invite anyone and everyone to join us to help celebrate the beginning of the all-new Toyota of Dallas.”

Toyota of Dallas’ new dealership and collision center represent a capital investment of over 17 million dollars, and construction is tentatively expected to end in the fall of 2014. For more information on the new facility and the event, please contact Toyota of Dallas.
