Bob Moss Inducted into Clemson University’s Construction Hall of Fame

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - March 7, 2014 - PRLog -- On March 6, Bob Moss, CEO of Moss & Associates was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Clemson University’s Department of Construction Science and Management at the University’s Madren Conference Center in Clemson, SC.

“It is a great honor to receive this recognition from Clemson University and stand alongside notable Hall of Fame members, Doug Pruitt and Harry Mashburn,” said Bob Moss, CEO of Moss & Associates.

Moss was tapped for the Hall of Fame for his accomplishments, contributions and leadership roles within the construction industry. The recognition also stems from his involvement in the community and his support for Clemson University’s Construction Science and Management department.

Moss has more than 45 years of construction experience. He founded Moss & Associates in 2004 and to date, the company has completed $3 billion in construction projects throughout North America and the Caribbean. In 2010, adding to their Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida offices, Moss & Associates expanded to Greenville, South Carolina. In 2013, by acquiring Peter Brown Construction, Moss expanded into Tampa and Tallahassee, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia and the Raleigh area with an office in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Moss & Associates has built several outstanding projects in South Carolina including a joint venture with Skanska for the Greenville Spartanburg International Airport Improvement Program as well as several houses of worship, manufacturing plants and pubic facilities such as the Abbeville County Administrative Building and Library.

Moss places a priority on community involvement. Throughout his career he has supported the American Red Cross, Give Kids The World, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Kidney Foundation, a variety of economic development organizations in the regions where Moss works as well as local food banks as well as organizations that support education and those seeking to end homelessness.

In addition, Moss & Associates has shown tremendous support for Clemson University’s Construction Science and Management department by hiring both interns and graduates and has recently become a Corporate Partner.

Moss is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Central Piedmont Community College. In 2013 the college named their Engineering Technology program after him.
