Over 1000 dealerships were active participants in the President’s Award program in 2013 with a total of 173 receiving the honorable designation. Honda awards dealerships based on high sales, the condition of the dealership’s facility, training, and their overall commitment to customer satisfaction. Bosak Honda met all of those criteria.

Honda introduced the President’s Award program in 1995. It was an incentive for dealerships to try to reach for Honda’s high brand standards and commitment to excellence. Over the years, the program has paid more attention to how dealerships meet the needs of their customers.

The Bosak Automotive Group are no strangers to the car dealership world. Their founder, John Bosak, first began selling cars in 1926. Two years later he started his own dealership, Bosak Motor Sales. It became a franchised Chrysler dealership in the 30s, which John Bosak continued to run until he retired in 1948.

In 1973, Bosak Motor Sales moved to Merrillville, Indiana where it remains today. Bosak Automotive Group expanded in 1994 when they opened Bosak Honda in Highland. Just a few years ago in 2010, Bosak Honda expanded with this award-winning dealership in Michigan City. A few years in, and the dealership is doing very well as evidenced by this award. Today Bosak Automotive Group is still owned and operated by the Bosak family.
