Help towards Clubhouse for Taunton Athletics

TAUNTON, U.K. - March 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Local community sports club, Taunton Athletics have received a cheque for £3,000 from Rumwell based Independent Financial Advisers, Vision South West.

The local company are keen supporters of sports charities in the region and on hearing that Taunton Athletics needed a new clubhouse, the company dug deep into their community support pockets and wrote the cheque for £3,000.

Simon Sidhu, one of the partners at the firm said, “We set up the business 2 years ago and have gone from strength to strength in that time. All three partners at Vision SW are committed to feeding some of our success back into the local community. Taunton Athletics Club caters for athletes of all ages and abilities, from beginners to county standard and beyond, so we felt they were an excellent community venture to adopt this year.”

Mike Rogers, Chairman of the club said, “Over the years Taunton AC has regularly had to move venues and the nomadic nature of the club has made development work difficult. We are so grateful to Vision SW for this very kind donation which we will put it towards our new clubhouse which is to be built at the Castle School track”.
