TraceGains Customer Conference in Colorado Huge Success

The conference was well-attended by major global food manufacturers and suppliers. Expert speakers presented on a variety of relevant topics. Carole Inman, VP Sales & Marketing of Specialty Food Ingredients, Alejandro Cebado, Sr. Director of Quality Systems from Bimbo Bakeries USA, and Virginia Mercer, Senior Specialist of McKee Foods Corporation spoke about their company interaction with TraceGains and how the technology is leading to a best practice standard within the food industry.

At the dinner event, the featured speaker was Antonio Gallegos of Greenberg Traurig LLP, who spoke on consumer-driven labeling concerns. Gallegos addressed consumer lawsuits for false and misleading labeling. The presentation provided an overview of the most common types of claims and tips for mitigating the risk for product labeling and advertising.
