CoverMyHeart™ Granted a U.S. Patent for its Nursing Scarf

CORONA, Calif. - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- CoverMyHeart™, who is committed to designing nursing covers with style and fashion for breastfeeding moms announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has recently granted a U.S. patent #D698516 to the Company, bringing the total patent portfolio issued to the Company in 2014 to two.

With the help of A local moms group, the Pass Area Breastfeeding Café moms, CoverMyHeart designed a nursing scarf that bridges the gap between fashion and function.  April Marcial owner and inventor of CoverMyHeart™ listened to the desires of breastfeeding moms, “Style, fashion, function, an accessory” was the need and she designed a nursing scarf now defined as ‘Fashion with a Purpose’.  A collection inspired by moms who breastfeed.

We aimed to set trends and our unique A-line designer details, compliments moms outfit and can be worn 17 different ways keeping it fresh, trend-setting and innovative.  “I want to help mom achieve her breastfeeding goals so, I thought outside the box and designed a cover she would be excited to wear”, said April Marcial, “designed to be worn, yet small enough to fit in her purse, it is the perfect cover for moms on the go”.

Since the launch of CoverMyHeat Nursing Scarf at the ABC Kids Expo in Vegas October 2013, it is now available in thirteen locations Nation Wide and in Canada, which affirms they are hitting the mark.
