Chicago Artist Karen I. Hirsch Included in Bridgeport Art Center Exhibit

CHICAGO - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Karen I. Hirsch is showing her work, "Aquatic Feathers," in the The 2nd Annual Juried Art Competition Exhibition of Chicago artists at the Bridgeport Art Center Gallery.  The exhibit runs from March 8 - April 18, 2014.  The opening reception is Saturday, March 8th from 7:00 - 10:00 PM. The Gallery is located on the 4th floor at 1200 W. 35th Street in Chicago.

More than 70 artists using a variety of media are represented in this show.  The competition was juried by John David Mooney and Michiko Kobayashi.

"I am so pleased to have my artwork selected for this high caliber exhibition," remarked Hirsch.  Her 36" x 24"  piece was entirely created in the computer and printed on canvas.

Karen I. Hirsch is an award-winning visual artist based in Chicago. Her work has been widely published in magazines, newspapers and books, including the prestigious Communication Arts and Graphis annuals. Her images have earned honors in international competitions.

Hirsch's prints are found in private and corporate collections.
