The 2015 Subaru WRX is Named Best Sport Sedan in the Annual MotorWeek Driver’s Choice Awards

March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Recently revealed and due in showrooms across the U.S. soon, the 2015 Subaru WRX has won recognition as the Best Sport Sedan in MotorWeek’s annual Driver’s Choice Awards. The 2015 model carries on this tradition, sporting a new 2.0L engine delivering 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine is essentially a turbocharged Boxer version of the engine featured in the new Forester 2.0 XT, but with different cams, higher-rate valve springs, and a number of other performance-enhancing upgrades.

Both the suspension and the chassis have been upgraded, and the result is significantly improved handling. The 2015 Subaru WRX also comes with an all-new six-speed manual transmission, with a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission as an option.

Even with the numerous upgrades, the price of the 2015 WRX has changed only slightly form last year’s model.
