Hamilton Honda Honored Again With Honda’s Most Prestigious Award

HAMILTON, N.J. - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Adding to its growing list of recognitions, Hamilton Honda became the proud recipient of the President’s Award, American Honda Motor Company’s highest honor. This marks the third time the dealership has received the award in less than five years.

“Getting the President’s Award three times in such a short time frame wouldn’t be possible without the great people we have here,” said Mike Saporito, who founded Hamilton Honda with former New York Giants Pro-Bowl linebacker Jessie Armstead in 2009. “We are very honored to receive this award because it shows us that we’re on the right track.”

The President’s Award is presented annually to only the top 15 percent of Honda dealerships nationwide. It is the most coveted honor that the manufacturer can grant to its dealerships and is awarded to “top-performing dealerships in the area of sales, customer treatment, training, business management, service retention and facilities,” according to Honda.

Hamilton Honda, which will celebrate its five-year anniversary in May, had a monumental 2013, finishing the year as the 16th-ranked Honda dealer in the U.S. Additionally, the dealership sold 532 vehicles in August and set an all-time district record. It also marked the first time a dealership in that district sold over 500 vehicles.

Hamilton Honda was also recognized in 2013 for its support of the local community through the works of Armstead and Saporito. The duo received honorary lifetime membership in the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) Local 66 for their charitable work and support of the local police department. The dealership also actively supports great causes such as the Children’s Miracle Network, Jimmy’s Fund, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Make A Wish, YWCA, Special Kids Organized Recreation (SKOR) and Ryan’s Quest.

Additionally, the dealership is always looking into new ways to set itself apart in customer service. Most recently, the dealership announced that it will carry Honda’s renowned energy-efficient vehicle lineup to an enthusiastic response. Customers have met the FitEV, Honda’s first all-electric vehicle, and the Accord Hybrid with overwhelming interest, resulting in several special order requests.
