Plachta, Murphy Announces New Associate Attorney

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The law firm of Plachta, Murphy & Associates, P.C., West Michigan’s premier Full-Service Law firm, is pleased to announce a new addition to our legal team.  Jeffrey M. Black has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney.

Black is a Grand Rapids native and a graduate of the University of Michigan.  In 2005, Black graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in Richmond, Virginia.  Before joining Plachta, Murphy & Associates, Black served as a full-time law clerk in the Kent County Circuit Court for the Honorable Dennis C. Kolenda, the Honorable Mark A. Trusock, and the Honorable Christopher P. Yates.

Black is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section from 2010-2011. Black resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Kimberly, and their daughter Allison.
