LINQ 2014 / EIF 2014 Conference Announces Venue

RETHYMNO, Greece - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The leading joint conference on quality innovation for learning and education has announced its location for 2014. The beautiful Iberostar Creta Panorama & Mare Hotel on the coast of Crete in Rethymnon will host an international audience of experts in the fields of technology-enhanced learning, open educational resources and quality development. Early-bird registration rates for LINQ 2014 in conjunction with EIF 2014 will be available until March 12; potential participants are encouraged to register soon, however, as seats are limited. Continuing the trend from last year’s conference at the Headquarters of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome, Italy, this venue will provide a magnificent backdrop to the essential and groundbreaking discussions on the meaning of quality in the context of open education. Innovative work from hundreds of submitters will provide the basis for this conference dialogue, including new papers, research projects, and workshops on the latest developments in the field.

This year, LINQ has joined forces with EFQUEL to establish a common community of experts passionate for quality development in the quickly expanding field of technology-enhanced learning. Their support will reinforce the foundation of the conference and inspire more constructive discussion and critical analysis than ever before.

The extended LINQ 2014 / EIF 2014 call for papers, projects, and workshops came to an end on February 24, 2014. Authors and project submitters will be informed of their acceptance by March 10, 2014. All accepted papers and selected projects may be presented at the conference, will be published in the official proceedings of the conference (with ISBN) and distributed to all conference participants as well as throughout Europe.
