The Kennedys Aviation Seminar will start with a presentation about aircraft finance and leasing with a focus on access to finance, key players and differing considerations, new entrants and alternative sources of finance, and lessons learned from recent transactions.
The discussion about maintenance contracts / power by the hour agreements will include an overview, how to balance expectations and cost for both parties, interplay between OEM agreements and lessor maintenance reserves.
Operational and regional issues will also be covered including consideration of operational and regional factors for airlines including cargo and corporate aircraft operators and managers in the region. A review of recent developments and challenges will also be presented.

Themes to be analysed include a review of asset management from an aviation perspective, factors to be considered in the event a repossession becomes necessary, a review of the conflicting contract party rights to a repossession and the effect of Cape Town Convention registrations.
