The Chancellor George Osborne’s Budget will be broadcast live to the audience of Tees Valley’s influential decision-makers and business leaders and will be followed by a Question Time- style debate.

The economic briefing is being held at Teesside University’s Darlington Campus on Wednesday March 19 starting at 12noon.

Stephen Catchpole, TVU Managing Director, said: "With recent fiscal indicators pointing to an upturn in the UK’s economic fortunes and with a General Election being on the cards next year, all eyes will be on this year’s Budget.

"As a result private, public and voluntary sectors leaders will be even keener than usual to learn how George Osborne is planning to keep the momentum going.
