Public schools are often limited in arts education – this is where Atlanta Festival Ballet fills in the gaps. By physically casting the children into the production they are allowed to explore their creativity, learn the discipline of being a dancer, and experience the joy of performing with a professional dance company. The Atlanta Festival Ballet’s In The School Program, is another example of their dedication to the community and children of the Southern Crescent and surrounding areas. Nicolas Pacaña, Gregory Aaron and Jocelyn Buchanan will bring the story of Odette and Odile to life on the stage. Swan Lake is known for powerful emotions, choreography of expressive arms, the illusion of flight, true precision and technical mastery. Audiences will delight in the charms and grandeur that this ballet has to offer, as well as, in Atlanta Festival Ballet’s choreographic style, which has pushed the Atlanta Festival Ballet company dancers’ and students’ technical skills and artistic sensitivities, propelling the Company and School to new heights and continually pleasing audiences. Please support the arts in your area by attending the Atlanta Festival Ballet Company’s production of Swan Lake at any of the locations.
