AST Names Tony Catalano as Chief Operating Officer

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- AST Corporation, an Oracle Platinum Partner and three-time recipient of the Oracle Excellence Award, today announced the appointment of Tony Catalano as Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Catalano will be directly responsible for managing and growing all of AST’s lines of business – ERP, Middleware, BI, EPM, CRM and Managed Services and will report directly to Pravin Kumar, AST’s President and Chief Executive Officer.

Most recently, Mr. Catalano served as Senior Vice President of Consulting Services for AST, managing strategic account relationships, assisting with business growth and handling oversight of managed services and recruiting functions.  Prior to AST, Mr. Catalano was an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Rolta/TUSC North America, where he was responsible for managing the company’s infrastructure services, maximizing processes and staffing models, and integrated global sourcing capabilities.  Additionally, Mr. Catalano led annual budgeting and forecasting processes, managed the company’s ERP and internal IT initiatives, and was responsible for Rolta’s Oracle Applications business in the Midwest region.
