The 2nd Annual Taste of Bluffton Will be Sponsored by Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Lowcountry families and die-hard foodies are in for a real treat on Saturday, April 12 — that’s when the 2nd Annual Taste of Bluffton comes to town. Presented by Covert Aire and sponsored by Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (http://www.hiltonheadcjd.com/about-us/), this year’s event features savory dishes from a number of the Lowcountry’s finest restaurants, a special appearance by Orchid Paulmeier from the WHHI's The Restaurant Show, and fun for the whole family.

"This is our first year to be involved with Taste of Bluffton," said John Lyons, General Manager of Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. "We love being involved in the community and we're looking forward to what all of the restaurants have to offer."

A family-friendly event, Taste of Bluffton will offer plenty of activities that will provide fun for kids and adults alike, with children’s activities sponsored by Island Playground and the Game Truck. Door prizes from local businesses will be handed out as well, but the real centerpiece of the event is the food.

Top chefs from some of the best local restaurants will be offering up their specialties, and attendees will have the opportunity to savor the gourmet cuisine and vote for their favorite dishes to win the “Best Taste of Bluffton” award.

Bluffton’s own Orchid Paulmeier will be making a special appearance at the event. Priding herself on her southern barbecue, Mrs. Paulmeier is an outspoken mother of three widely known for her appearances on The Food Network’s The Restaurant Show.

Last year’s Taste of Bluffton drew over 4,000 attendees to sample delicious food and drink served by 28 local restaurants.

Taste of Bluffton will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on State Street at Bluffton Village, across the street from the post office, and is open to the public.
