By: Marketfair During the event, Fayetteville officials and key project executives will ceremonially turn over the first shovels of dirt around 11:30 a.m. Fayetteville Mayor Nat Robertson will be onsite to help celebrate the occasion, and a representative for the redevelopment will share background information on the project. The event will include a light lunch, as well as an opportunity for attendees to get an up-close look at renderings that showcase the new shopping center design. Sunbelt Ventures LLC is working in conjunction with Westport Capital Partners LLC on the Marketfair redevelopment project. They aim to provide Fayetteville residents with a fun new destination for shopping, dining and catching a movie. Current plaza tenants including Carmike Cinemas as well as Gander Mountain and H.H.
